Day 17 - One Step

There is an amazing truth about leading the kingdom life insofar as it encompasses a great thirst for a greater understanding of God and of his ways in the world; years of study, though invaluable, often correspond to the enormous pleasure of walking a long, long leafy lane in high summer that turns out, in the end for many of us, to be a 'no through road'.

On the other hand, such earth-shaking kingdom revelations that are all-too-rarely given to mankind arrive thick and fast, and with shockingly clear, glacier-like clarity, after one single step of obedience.

You may like to consider a pause in your ministry, a pause in your learning, in your search for deeper understanding. Why not instead take a step into the kingdom, armed only with the promises of that kingdom, and watch the Spirit confirm what you say with signs and wonders to the glory of Christ?
