1. March Healing Service Dates
Celtic Healing Service
Thursday March 12th
11 a.m.
at The Well Centre, Cwmbran
Led by Revd Sam Caton
It has been known, since the times of early Celtic Christianity, that some places
can be 'thin'. This means that when we are in such a place, the veil between heaven and
earth becomes very thin - people are reaching up to God and he is reaching down to us.
It is almost as though the two nearly touch, and it is most wonderful to be there!
Such a place is our Celtic Healing Service. This is the most
beautiful time of coming close to God and doing one's private business with him at
our own point of need.
The service is based around modern translations of ancient
Welsh and Irish prayers and has been an enormous inspiration and blessing to many.
Christ The Healer Service
Saturday March 14th
7 p.m.
at The Well Centre, Cwmbran
So many of us have this or that wrong with us, from
the trivial to the deadly serious.
We don't know all the reasons for our being like
this, but God's answer to this mess, which we and the rest of the human race have
got ourselves into, was to reveal his nature as the healer, deliverer and redeemer
of all who turn to him. With God, fresh starts are available.
Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil
(including all forms of ill-health), to bind up the broken-hearted, and to set
captives free. We enter into all this, which Jesus won for us by grace, through
faith in him, believing in our hearts and confessing with our lips.

4. Recommended Reading "The Grace Outpouring"
by Roy Godwin and Dave Roberts, £7.99
Imagine a House of Prayer in every town.
Imagine churches filled with Christains who want to bless others: who want to pray and
then stand back and watch God at work, changing lives before their very eyes.
Since his arrival at the Ffald-y-Brenin
retreat centre in rural Wales, Roy Godwin has been able to imagine all this -
because he has seen the amazing effects of God working in sovereign power on
people who weren't even sure he existed! Roy has witnessed the outbreak of God's
bounty and blessing in the retreat centre, in the grounds, in the fields and out
in the community. His story will be an inspiration to all those who are looking
for a new trust in God's willingness to bless the needy with repentance and the
Holy Spirit

Note: Roy Godwin is the main speaker at the
Jacob's Well Conference in 15th - 18th June 2009. If you haven't booked, now would
be a good time to do so, as we have much to learn from this man of God. This year's theme is worship.

5. New member of staff
We are delighted to tell you that a
new Office Manager is joining the team here at the Well on the 16th March. Her name
is Julie Cameron. She trained as a nurse and has worked in both nursing and Social
Services for most of her working life.
Julie has been known to us, at The
Well, for about 10 years and in that time she has already shown herself to be a delightful
team member and a great blessing to our ministry. She has helped regularly at the Healing
Clinic and on teaching days, as well as lending a hand in the office during busy times.
Please pray for her in her new role
and remember to say hi, if you get an opportunity!
