Here are some of the stories received from Northfielders:

"I have had Rheumatoid Arthritis in my hands for thirteen years, so bad that I could not even open bottles. A friend invited me to the Friday evening service, where they prayed for me. During the prayer, my hands were very warm, then the joints eased up a bit, not so stiff, and by the end of the prayers, they were tingling. Today they are still tingling, but there is no pain. What a feeling. Praise be to God!" Debbie Smit

"I have an increasingly strange spine, after too many years of running and of course age. This has created pressure on some nerves in my back, resulting in neck and shoulder pain and restricted mobility of my head. I have had this for a number of years, and have had Traction, Physio and Medication, all of which provided temporary and limited relief. I became so used to it that I resigned myself to the fact that I would always have this discomfort. On Sunday morning, I realized that something was different when I was pain free, even while blow-drying my hair which was always a mission. I never told anyone in case the pain returned and I would look silly, but I still have no pain! Besides being really blown away by this, I am of course truly thankful and have begun telling friends and family. Their reactions have been varied, from joy to scepticism, but I will continue giving thanks to Jesus for this wonderful and unexpected gift." Lynn Hains

"In 2002 I was diagnosed with colon cancer. As a result, I had radical surgery and after treatment, went into remission until 2004, when I was again diagnosed with cancer, this time of the liver. After surgery and treatment, I was again in remission until April of this year, when 3 tumours were found on my lungs. On hearing of Mike Endicott's visit, and long before this most recent diagnosis, I had made the decision to attend his 3-day Seminar. Mike stated that Jesus said that I had an expectant right to be healed. After the Celtic Healing Service on Wednesday night, I sent an e-mail to Mike in the U.K., telling him of my intention of going for an X-Ray on Friday and that I had this expectation of healing. I had the X-Rays, and they have revealed that I now do not have the 3 tumours shown to be present in April, but only one! Praise be to Jesus!" Graham Gemmell

"I have been suffering terribly for the past 18 months, with very irritated eyes. I have worn contact lenses since 1993, but never had a problem, until 18 months ago. On visiting a specialist, I was told that these things can and do happen over time. It is called Papillary Conjunctivitis. Big words, but it is a really awful feeling all the time, varying from a gritty sensation, to having mountain ranges in my eye lids. I haven't been able to wear my contact lenses, and as a result of vanity, refuse to wear glasses. Life has not been very pleasant for me these past months. Now for the good news. After attending the Wednesday evening Celtic Healing Service, my eyes are completely healed, smooth, clear and problem-free! I really praise God for this and still keep on closing my eyes and rolling them around to see if they're still okay and yes, they are 100%. I had not intended attending the 3-day Seminar, as I've never been interested in healing, but I felt that God was leading me to do it, and I am so grateful that I did. God has ignited a fire in me, that I haven't felt in may years and I don't think that my life or way of thinking will ever be the same again." Heather Haydock

"During Mike's healing demonstration with Bertha and Enid on Tuesday afternoon, I was aware of a sensation in my gammy right knee, an old rugby injury. I prayed along with Mike as he had taught us. At the end of the day, I was conscious of complete freedom in my knee. I asked my friends to wait for me before leaving and went over to the church steps. I tentatively climbed the steps and then came down again with no pain and with complete freedom. I repeated the exercise with the same ease, and headed for the car with wonder in my heart. My symptoms started to return on Friday evening and I addressed them in the name of Jesus and they disappeared immediately! All praise to our Lord and His healing power." David Jenkins

"I have always had a gripping, immobilizing, stiff feeling in my lower back, the result of an injury about 25 years ago. I was dune-surfing at Kenton-on-Sea and hit a rock, breaking my coccyx. It was a huge shock to me and the recovery was very slow. Mike was praying for the healing of someone else's injury on Wednesday and broke the shock!! I had never thought of the shock effect. I prayed for myself at the same time, for the shock to be removed from my back and blessing Jesus for His healing power. Over the past few days, I have had the most amazingly mobile back once again. I will continue to bless Jesus for his ongoing healing." Gail

"Last week, on Wednesday, I had to give blood for my PI to be done. The nurse battled to find a vein and dug around in my left arm before eventually finding one. That night I woke up with pain in the arm and could not sleep. For the following three days I suffered with pain, despite the use of anti-inflamatories. I attended Church on Sunday to hear about Mike and his ministry and during the singing of 'Let the River Flow', I had the most wonderful feeling pass from my head down my entire body, and the pain left my arm and has not returned to this day. I can only praise my Lord and saviour for His love and bless Mike for his ministry." Penny Keel

"My daughter was admitted to the Linmed yesterday in preparation for a Gall-bladder operation today She was placed on a drip and during the night, praise God, she was healed. When they took X-Rays this morning, nothing was found. They again X-Rayed and she was clear and discharged without her operation." Lynette

"I would like to give God all the glory and praise for healing both myself and my daughter, while I was attending Mike's 3-day Seminar. I have suffered with a bladder problem, which, according to the Urologist, could only be corrected with surgery. Symptoms normally manifested themselves daily, but on Wednesday I noticed that they did not appear, but I didn't think this significant at the time. By that night, I realized that God had healed me. I will go back to the doctor to have it verified, but I know I am healed. Another healing which took place at the Seminar was my self-consciousness, with which I have lived all my life. During the Seminar I was completely at ease taking part in a demonstration with Mike, without any embarrassment at all, Hallelujah! My daughter was really ill and in bed with flu on Tuesday, running a high temperature a very sore throat and red weepy eyes. After many prayers, within two days she was well and back at work, and the best part, I have never heard my daughter praise the Lord before now." Lyn

"Yesterday, during the morning session, I had a severe pain in my neck which left me with a headache. Towards the end of the afternoon session, the headache eased and I realized that I could turn my head easily to the left and to the right, something I haven't been able to do for 3 years now. Other pain in my arms has not totally left me yet, but this morning I was able to pop my arm through my jacket sleeve with such ease. Thank you Jesus!" Anonymous

"After the 3-day Seminar, I feel totally revived and restored. I am healed of guilt for my sins and physically as well. I was cleansed during the Celtic Healing Service, really experiencing the effects of expectancy, persistence and corporate prayer. I remain steadfast in loving my Lord God and I thank Him that I am renewed with the healing power of Jesus Christ." Gladys S'mangele

"On Friday evening, Meryl Wright and I stayed and prayed separately to two ladies, who had met for the first time after the service. One had a virtually permanent back 'strain' and was all strapped up. The other had undergone a mastectomy and reconstruction, which had left her with severe muscular pain in the area of the procedure, down her side and into her back. After our ministry, I noticed that both ladies had begun to cry. Remember these are two separate instances. I asked them if they were alright and both sobbed out in joy, that their pains had gone. Praise to our Lord for His Grace and healing power." David Jenkins

"My daughter Christine, has been in bed for the past two days with very bad flu. Last night she had a terrible night with a sore throat which gave her a very troubled sleep. When she woke, she had lost her voice. I decided on a 'leap of faith' and my wife and son joined me in praying for her. When we had finished praying, she could talk and her sore throat was gone! All glory to God! Praise Jesus." Shaun Botha

"I have had a pinched nerve in my back for a long time. When I fell pregnant, I decided that I was going to have a wonderful pregnancy, with none of the usual illness associated with it, and prayed for this. However, the pain in my back got to bad that I battled to move my legs. I don't know why but I just accepted this. Listening to Mike, it struck me that illness, in any form, is not the will of God, so I placed my hand on my back and prayed. I can now lift my leg without pain. I still have no major pain, and when I do feel any, it goes the instant that I pray." Anonymous

"I have a problem with my lower back, after surgery about 5 years ago. I cannot sit for too long on those plastic chairs, becoming stiff and sore after a couple of hours. As I was attending Mike Endicott's Seminar, I thought I would bring my 'support chair', which fits onto any normal chair. However, fearing that it would draw too much attention, I decided to 'sit it out'. As Mike began ministering to Bertha, I leaned forward to ease the discomfort I was, by this stage, beginning to feel, when an amazing sharp pain struck my back and I jerked upright, but continued watching Mike and Bertha with interest. At this point I did not think anything other that that I was sitting quite comfortably and pain-free. It was only when Mike inadvertently addressed Bertha as Brenda a number of times, that I began to question whether the Holy Spirit was trying to tell me something. I realized I could move very easily. I could twist without any stiffness and was able to get up off the chair with ease for the closing prayer. I can honestly say that for the next two days sitting on those chairs, I completed the Seminar without any stiffness or discomfort and was overjoyed that I had received healing. Praise You Jesus! Thank You! I am blessed." Brenda

"Fifty years ago I broke my knee at a Church Camp. In those days there wasn't much the doctors could do for me. I later had surgery to remove loose bone fragments, and was told that Arthritis had set in and that I would suffer with it for the rest of my life. I will be 80 in July, and with the passing years have had increasing pain. My spine also became affected, as my leg was getting shorter. The net result has been sleepless nights. On Sunday evening, as I was listening to Mike Endicott, my faith and hope was strengthened and felt that I should not give up hope of a touch from the Lord. The next morning, I found that I could walk and stand up straight without any pain whatsoever, and realized that I had received His touch. "All of your sickness bring to me, Come with your pain and you will see, I am the Lord that healeth thee". All glory and thanks to our Heavenly Father." Tommy

"I am a diabetic, so need to measure my sugar levels regularly. Towards the end of the week of Mike's visit, I noticed that they were lower than they had been for weeks. I had not specifically asked for prayer, other than attending the Celtic Healing Service." Marilyn

"I am an asthmatic who needs to use a Ventolin spray on a regular basis. On the last day of the Seminar, I noticed that I hadn't used it for two days. It is now the seventh day and still have not needed the spray. My relationship with God has changed dramatically, not just because of the healing of my asthma, but the realization that Jesus died for me. The penny has dropped." Elmarie Brett

"During Mike Endicott's Seminar, I went up for healing of pain in my knees which I have had for the past ten years, the result of an old hockey injury. As he praised and blessed Jesus, I felt the most wonderful peace settle about me. Although at first there did not seem to be any change, but then I felt a gradual build up of strength, and found that I could lift my legs up, with no pain at all. I now climb up and down the stairs to the Tape Library room at least four times a day, and do things at home that Leon had normally had to do for me. I had also noticed a healing in my shoulders. I used to find it very difficult to turn the steering of my little Fiat Uno when reversing, but can now do it with no ill effect at all. Bless you Jesus for all you've done for me. Amen." Enid

"Mike Endicott spoke on Sunday May 7th of the 'shadow-healing' of folk, not specifically being prayed for, but simply present when healing takes place. I had torn the rotator cuff in my shoulder, almost three years ago at work. Doctors told me that surgery was the only remedy, but financial constraints ruled this out. (The condition is extremely painful and restricts arm movement to the point where one cannot lift ones arm vertically or horizontally higher than shoulder height.) On Monday morning, May 8th, I was sitting in the bath and I placed the soap in the soap dish with my left arm, for the first time without wincing. I repeated the movement for a second time, again without pain. I had not been able to do this for over 2 years! I made no mention of this at first, but when toweling myself dry after my bath, I found that I could raise my left arm vertically, without any discomfort. I demonstrated my new found movement to my wife and she too, was astounded. It has now been over a week and I have been able to carry out my duties at work unimpaired for the first time since my injury, when spending hundreds of Rands on pain-killers and anti-inflammatories had not helped. Praise God! Amen" Ron Jordaan

"For months I had suffered with an increasingly stiff and painful right hand, finding it difficult to write, knit or even turn the steering of my car. At night my shoulder would begin to ache and a dull pain would travel down my arm to my hand, which would become cold and develop into acute 'pins and needles'. This would then be followed by a feeling that a burning coal had been placed in my hand. By morning these symptoms would wear off, but I dreaded going to bed! In church on Sunday, as I was listening, praying and concentrating on Mike Endicott's guiding message, I experienced a kind of warmth and movement in my shoulder. I didn't think much about it until much later. That night I had no re-occurrence of the pain, and by the following morning could flex my fingers and my hand felt completely normal. I know that I have had the blessing of being healed in this miraculous way, by the power of the Lord Jesus working in me, and I cannot be more grateful and full of praise." Doreen Richardson

"I would like to share the particular healing I experienced on Friday May 12th. In January 2005, I had a hip replacement, which was, to an extent, successful. I have however, not had full movement of the hip and leg, despite physiotherapy and exercises. In December last year, I had major surgery for cancer. While recovering from this, I was unable to exercise and the muscles and nerves from my back, around the hip area and down my leg all shortened, crippling my movements even further - to the extent that I could not lift my leg from the accelerator to the brake pedal, or get in and out of the car without manually lifting my leg. Once again, I had been having intensive physiotherapy for this condition. On Friday, after prayer for healing by Debbie and Wendy, and placing all the healing I felt I needed at the foot of the Cross, I went home. Twenty minutes later, I found that, without any help, I could lift my leg onto a chair and even tie my shoelaces! Praise be to Jesus!" Lee Powell

"I arrived at the Friday night Mini-conference, not only in a state of devastation, but also desperation. I had in the back of my mind, the thought that God only does things for those who count, not for people like me, who don't. Mike then challenged this way of thinking. At the end of the evening when we were invited to stay for prayer, there was a battle raging in me. Part wanted me to stay and part wanted me to go. When Trevor asked if anyone else needed prayer, I found my hand in the air, as though it had a mind of its own. Giving in to the moment, I asked the team to pray for physical healing for a battered, bruised and broken body. As they prayed, I felt compelled to open my heart and allow their words to bathe my soul and fill my mind. As I opened myself up to the presence of God, I felt someone cover me with a warm blanket, making me a feel safe for the first time in months. As the warmth spread throughout my body, I felt that there was less pain than normal. Only when I opened my eyes, did I realize that there was no blanket, and that the sensation of being covered and of warmth, had come from another source. That night I slept for 4 straight hours, for the first time in years. When I woke, I knew something had happened. As I was dressing, I discovered that the black, purple and blue bruises which had covered my body the day before, had completely disappeared. Not only were the bruises gone, but the associated pain as well. God had met with me personally and not only answered the prayers we had prayed, but also my questions about my self-worth. God doesn't make mistakes and I know He loves me. Anonymous

"I am a regular attendee of the Primrose Methodist Church, but attended Northfield on May 14th, to hear Mike Endicott. I was prayed over after the service, something I did reluctantly at first. I tore the ligaments in my foot in April of this year and had been suffering a lot of pain and frustration. (On top of this, the doctors were concerned that my Epilepsy had returned, after I passed out at the clinic.) Last year I had also damaged my knee, resulting in surgery, and which still gives me trouble. I also suffer with neck problems, following a motor accident in 2004. As we prayed, I felt God's strength draw through my body. I was truly overwhelmed by His presence. After we had prayed, I pushed on the damaged tissue on my foot and felt no pain. So I applied pressure by putting all my body weight onto the foot, which I had not been able to do up until then. There was no pain at all. What a miracle!! I then pressed on my knee and all the pain I had previously felt in the scar tissue was gone. My neck, although I still have had a few niggles here and there, feels good as well. But the best part of all, was when I visited the neurologist on the following Tuesday, and the EEG showed no traces of Epilepsy. All my prayers were answered that night and God performed a tremendous miracle in my life. How could I ever have doubted His capabilities?" Misha Ginns

"It is difficult to put on paper what happened between myself and Jesus. It was very clear to me that I had to go and hear Mike Endicott, even though, as I cannot remember Bible verses or what I have read yesterday, I felt I was not clever or good enough to have a relationship with Jesus. What added to this feeling of inferiority, is the fact that I am overweight. But….if I had not listened to the words that Jesus laid on my heart through Mike, I would not have understood what life with Jesus was all about. To realize that although I am not the most intellectual Bible boffin, or the perfect size 34, Jesus loves Sonia as she is. It does not matter that I can't remember what I read yesterday, or what I learned in Sunday School. I spend time when I can with Jesus, even if its listening to the radio on the way to work, or listening to someone talking about Him. This is fine! Jesus loves me for myself, not for what I cannot do or understand. I now realize that it is Sonia that Jesus loves and that I am okay as I am. I no longer have to feel bad because I have not read my Bible. He forgives me and I have forgiven myself. I must just listen and talk with Him." (Translated from Afrikaans) Sonia

"God has healed me of my various health problems. I can now smell and taste properly for the first time since 1993. I used to have to use tablets and pumps for Asthma. I now have to remind myself to take the tablets. Previously, I knew when to take them, because my chest would close up. I can now breathe much more freely. I have been to the doctor for a check-up for my Thyroid. She called me to say that my current medication dosage of 150mg is too high, and that I should drop it to 100mg. I believe that after my next check-up in six weeks time, I will need to drop the dosage even further. Thank you for a new tool in my life, for and by God's glory. May our God's mercy, grace and gifts be with us all." Lynette

"I attended Mike Endicott's Seminar in May and let's say that my life will never be the same again. On the Wednesday evening, my husband and I attended the Celtic Healing Service. I never expected to be healed (I have severe osteo-arthritis in my neck and spine) as I felt that as there were so many people there who were very ill, the Lord would heal them first. My husband and I then prayed for some people on the following Friday and Saturday. On May 18th, in severe pain, I visited my Neurosurgeon, and was sent for a Cat-Scan and neck X-Ray. The latter showed that my neck Discs 3 / 4 had osteophytes and the gap had narrowed, which was causing the extreme pain. The Surgeon advocated another operation - I have already had 3 back and 5 neck operations - but the Medical Aid insisted on a second opinion before giving the go-ahead. I duly did this and had a second MRI on June 5th. This time it showed that all the osteophytes in my neck had disappeared. The pain has begun subsiding and the heavy cloud that has been hanging over my head has cleared and I now feel warm sunshine flowing over me. In addition, the condition of my husband, who was suffering with chest pains and memory loss, has improved tremendously. The chest pains left him immediately after the Wednesday evening healing service, and his memory is improving daily. All glory to our Lord God Almighty, who answers our prayers in His, not our time." "I have gradually, over the past few years, been losing the sight in my left eye, to the point where it was down to 5% vision. On the Saturday of the Mike Endicott Mini-Conference, I went up for prayer. Praise the Lord, I was suddenly able to see a blurred hand in front of me. The vision in the eye is now 40 to 45% and still continues to improve. I praise and thank the Lord for the wonderful healing that has taken place. I also thank all who prayed and still are praying. I love you Lord Jesus, thank you, thank you!" Keith Mitchell

"I arrived at the mini-seminar on the Friday evening, not knowing what to expect. I had been suffering for many months with neck and arm pains, despite having visited a Physiotherapist for the 5 previous weeks. I was strapped up with huge strips of plaster in a cross across my back. While I did have some relief from the Physio, I was still in a lot of pain. Mike had called up to the front, ladies who were experiencing any pain. I was one of many who went up and sat on my haunches in the aisle. Next to me was a lady who had a very painful hand, the result of a botched operation. We held hands. As Mike was praying over a third person, I suddenly realized that I had absolutely no pain in my neck or back. I stayed behind and was prayed over by a couple from Trinity Methodist in Pretoria, and we 'sealed the deal'. On the Saturday morning, I met the lady with the painful hand, who also reported a wonderfully restful night. My grateful thanks to all at Northfield for bringing out Mike Endicott. Marge Fletcher
